Those voices in your head that tell you your body is not "right"-aren't they utterly frustrating? More than that, don't these emotions take a toll on you?
Have you ever thought that by being so critical of yourself, you are actually doing injustice to yourself.

After all, you are a precious human being, who deserves to be happy from within. So please stop subjecting yourself to these negative emotions, and try doing these six body-positive actions that will really help you accept and love yourself for who you are.

1. Fall in Love With…
Your reflection in the mirror. Don the laciest pair of lingerie in your wardrobe if you have to. But just stand in front of the mirror and admire yourself. The dumbasses who think you are a narcissist can go f**k themselves. Because you know what? You're sexy and you know it.


 

2. Burn Those Magazines
Remember that scene from Jab We Met when Geet sets Aditya's ex's photograph on fire? That's your cue, ladies. Get rid of those magazines with doctored pictures of malnourished models. Those beauty standards are unrealistic and impractical any way. So let them burn--literally so.


3. Find a New Role Model
How about Adele instead of Gigi Hadid this time? Idolizing an average-sized human being can fetch you a lot peace in life, trust us.


 

4. Slay Those Outfits Like a Badass
Liked that dress at the mall? Pick it up, wear it, and step the hell out. Worried about what people might think? Well, it's your life, your rules, your choices, and your body.


 

5. Reminders to Self
Write yourself love letters if you have to, but keep reminding yourself that that you're beautiful in your own unique way. People around you love you for who you are, and they are the ones who matter, anyway.


6. Pamper Yourself
Do something that makes you feel good about yourself. Go for a spa treatment, take peaceful walks, watch Netflix, read books--basically, do anything and everything that makes you happy.
