Germany
You can drive in Germany on your Indian driving license but only for six months from the date of your entry into the country. Also, you will need to get your license translated into German from the embassy.
United Kingdom
There are some perks of being the ex-colony of England. For starters you can drive in England without making any alterations to your license for a period of one year.
Depending upon your insurance policy, you can drive around in Finland from a period between six months to one year.

If you are a tourist visiting Australia, you can hire a car to drive. Though, your license should be in English. Also, you will need to carry your identification papers with you at all times.
United States of America
The continent of US allows you to drive in the country irrespective of the nature of your visa. This means, you can either be a student or a working professional. You are also allowed to hire rentals as long as your license is documented in English.
