Picture this: You finally slog your lazy bum to clean your house and discard all the waste and junk into the garbage dump. And then your building's janitor picks up the garbage bag and throws off all the discarded waste back at your doorstep. Isn't it so frustrating to look at the same scrap again just because your janitor refuses to let it be where it needs to be? More importantly, isn't it painful to watch your hard work getting ruined and having to start cleaning all over again?

Yes, if you were to face this in real life, you'd probably fire or even kill that guy. But what if there's nothing you can do about it?

Well, that's exactly the helplessness that ex-flames Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif might be facing while promoting their upcoming movie Jagga Jasoos.

No, we aren't comparing the director and the producers of Jagga Jasoos to the janitors or exes to garbage (or maybe we are). But the point is that looking at the same person who broke your heart every day and pretending that nothing is wrong is probably worse than handling a box-office flop if we were to talk in industry terms. So probably, it sucks to be in Ranbir and Katrina's shoes right now, no matter how glamorous their lives look on the outside.

Yes, they seem to be amicable, mature exes, holding the banner of 'it is fine to be friends with your ex' high up. However, it's damn tough man. We say it, because at one point, we've all tried to have a platonic, non-toxic 'friendship' with our past lovers and we all know how that has panned out in most cases. It usually ends with a passionate one-night stand, a patch up, more hatred for each other or simply revisiting your past memories. Each case is followed by regret and--loads of it, we tell you.

How then are these stars managing to happily promote their movie together?

To be honest, even these 'fine' actors haven't been able to successfully conceal the tension between them. Their interviews clearly indicate the discomfort and are marked with occasional bouts of snarkiness that they pelt at each other. So maybe they are all smiles on camera, but this is how they probably feel inside:

After all, they are just human beings too, but kudos to their professional attitude. This deserves a clap, a slow clap actually.
